Kent Farm House

Our clients have been living in the property for many years and are tired of looking at the blank sloping garden that was mostly lawn. They wanted the garden to be split into many different rooms so they could have ample space for planting but also to entertain friends and family. Being located outside a rural village they also wanted to use the garden to benefit local wildlife and biodiversity.

We divided the garden into six different rooms a central entertaining space sits at the heart of the garden will all the other rooms leading off it. A courtyard garden with folly creates a great focal point and location for eating in the shade, Vegetable garden and cutting garden with Alitex greenhouse provides a focal point from the meadow. Cantilevered deck over a new pond faces west perfect for sunset views. New extension takes pride off place at the side of the property in its own courtyard filled with plants.
